Neurovascular Lab

This project included construction of a Neurovascular Lab, Prep and Recovery room, and renovations to and expansion of the existing Interventional Imaging Department at Community Medical Center.  The Lab and Recovery were built within existing shell space, while the balance of the project was renovation to the existing Interventional Imaging Department and included:

  • New Neurovascular Lab with dedicated storage, scrub station and Control Room
  • New Prep/Holding/Recovery area with 16 bays, including one Isolation Room and Patient Toilets
  • New Nurse Station to support the new Prep/Holding/Recovery area
  • Clinical support spaces (Meds, Clean Supply, Soiled Workroom, Soiled Holding, Nourishment station, Consult, Environmental Services closet, Equipment Storage)
  • Upgrades to administrative and staff support spaces (relocated offices, renovation of existing EKG Workroom and Physician Reading, new Staff Lounge and Toilet/Shower, expanded Staff Locker Rooms)
